We seek the overlooked to share stories of hope, the love of Jesus, and a path forward in freedom.

Ministering to the marginalized people of Magnolia, TX

What is Gateway?

We invite the marginalized people in our area to our home where we love, serve and share with them our personal stories of struggle.

Then we help connect them with one of our strategic partners (ministries and churches in the area) so that discipleship can continue and people can find community, hope and a place to share their own story.

There’s a problem in the modern day church.

We aren’t sharing our stories in and open and honest way because of the shame attached with sin.

At Gateway Stories, we want to tell our real, raw stories of struggle in order to connect with people who are going through their own hardships.

Then we can help people get plugged-in to communities and churches in the area (our strategic partners) so they can begin to heal and then tell their own stories of triumph over adversity.

Invitation. Story. Connection.

Gateway Stories Invites You… to dinner followed by a storytelling concert with original music.

Joey shares stories through original songs about his life of adversity and triumph; growing up born with Cerebral Palsy, married since 1992, and the father to eight children. He shares how he met the Lord, about the people who have influenced him along the way, and about God’s miraculous provision through it all.
