In a world where loneliness, hardship, and isolation are increasingly common, the Acts 2:44 Club exists to bring people together in the spirit of the early church. Inspired by the example found in Acts 2:44, our club is a community of believers who are committed to loving their neighbors, sharing resources, and meeting practical needs through acts of service.
At Gateway Stories, we believe that ministry happens not only inside church walls but also in neighborhoods, nursing homes, shelters, hospitals, and homes throughout our community. The Acts 2:44 Club provides a way for ordinary people to make an extraordinary impact.
What is an Acts 2:44 Club?
The Acts 2:44 Club is a community of monthly supporters, volunteers, and prayer partners who help Gateway Stories respond to needs throughout the year. Together, volunteers of all ages make it possible for us to provide practical assistance, encouragement, and hope to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.
By joining the club, members become part of a movement that reflects the heart of the early church—people caring for one another and ensuring that no one walks through life’s challenges alone.
Serving Our Community
Throughout the year, Acts 2:44 Club members help support projects such as:
- Collecting used clothing that are sorted, labeled, stored, and shared with local ministries
- Delivering food and supplies to families in need
- Providing care and encouragement to senior adults
- Collecting rain gear, hygiene items, and seasonal necessities for vulnerable individuals
- Supporting community outreach events
- Assisting local ministries and nonprofit partners with goods from the community closet.
- Providing easy, quick, practical help during times of crisis.
Every project is an opportunity to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.
More Than Donations
While financial support is important, the Acts 2:44 Club is about much more than giving money. It is about building relationships, serving together, and becoming the hands and feet of Jesus.
Some members volunteer at events while others donate resources. Young kids sort and label shoes and socks, some senior volunteers help with folding and labeling clothing. Many serve as prayer warriors who faithfully lift up the needs of our community. Every role matters.
When people come together with a shared purpose, lives are changed—not only for those receiving help but also for those who serve.
